Environmental Law and Consumer Protection

Jon Schwartz worked for National Wildlife Federation and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency while attending the Emory School of Law. Jon graduated law school in 1997 and started this firm in 2004. He represents individuals and organizations with environmental and consumer protection claims. His practice includes Clean Water Act suits, stormwater cases, challenges to industrial permits, challenges to road projects, historic preservation, eminent domain, cases against the government for improper management of public lands, and toxic torts (injuries caused by exposure to toxic substances). Consumer protection claims include product liability, insurance law, banking law, wrongful foreclosure, and fraudulent real estate transactions. Jon is on the Georgia Conservancy Legal Committee and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Legislative Committee.
